Providence College

Providence College students have an extraordinary ability to balance challenging academics and involvement in their school, local, or global community, which is the epitome of what it means to be a Friar. Please share how your own experiences demonstrate what it means to be a Friar, and why Providence College is the right fit for you. (Optional)  Responses should be no longer than 250 words.

Often when people are met with challenges they unveil their true potential. A Friar always finds himself perched on a dwindling twig of time upon which he performs miraculous feats unheard of! Nonetheless such moments of heightened sensitivity shower sublime ecstasy.

My transcript has it that I had loads of co-curricular activities to manage along with my academics. Back then I was a football player, a NCC cadet, interact servant and a rigorous student who apart from being a voracious reader took gobs of external examinations. My junior and senior years were highly industrious. I had been preparing for the Indian entrance exam, board-exams and SAT 1 and 2 for which I had only 3 months. I was 'compelled' to prepare my college application within 46 hours. After my board exams. I would take AP Calculus BC and Computer Science A for which I'll have 1.5 months. I would pursue daunting external certifications like A+, Network+, Security+, CASP, OCA, OCP, CEH, LPT, CISO etc. along with my college courses, which obviously is a redoubting adventure! The dearth of time and the incalculable tasks have stupefied me as I unleashed my hidden potential to outsmart the circumstances!

Such a friar is enthralled by the 105-acre campus, student-to-faculty ratio of 12:1, elitist educators, financial aid packages, student organizations, versatile fusion of cultural heritage, co-curricular activities, research opportunities, edge-cutting ranking, nonpareil students, internships and post-graduation job opportunities at Providence College.

The college of my dreams which pushes me past my limits is Providence.
